Surely few of us got much sleep the night before the start of our Dialogue of Civilization in Peru. We arrived at the airport early. One by one we came together at the gate, waiting to board our plane. After a brief stop in Newark, we prepared for the flight to Lima, picking up of few more members of our group in the process. Finally, after a long day, we landed in Peru and were greeted by the Peruvian coordinators. We hopped in our vans and were whisked off to the homes of our host families.
