Today, on a trip to Callao, the nearby port city, the students got to experience another side of Peru. Callao has been a very important part since the Spanish conquest of Peru. It is in fact the reason Lima was chosen to be the capital, due to its proximity. Today the trip included a visit to the Museo Naval, el Submarino Abtao, and la Fortaleza del Real Felipe.
