Air Force School

Writer's picture: Professor YanetProfessor Yanet

5/29/2019

On day three visiting the air force school we joined younger classes of students of about 12 and 13 years old. There were lessons on literature, English, history, and more. Afterwards, we got another excellent history lesson from one of the professors. It was on struggles for power in the past centuries in Peru. This lesson was complemented by a discussion on the first parts of our book with Mónica later on. However, before that, we of course had another hour of language exchange with the students which was fun as always. Many of us find that the students in some ways treat us like celebrities, crowding around us, asking us lots of questions, taking our picture, and even asking for our autographs. I don’t think any of us can complain about the level of appreciation and affection we are receiving from our hosts.
